The 2nd Annual Kids & Dreams Autism Conference will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, NE. The Keynote Speaker for the 2016 Conference is Brenda Smith Myles. Other speakers include: Jennifer Miller (PTI Nebraska) & Jenny Daup and Dr. Michael Brown. The cost to attend is $50 per individual and $75 per couple. Students will be able to attend for $30.
About Our Conference – Our goal is to present a variety of resources, options, and topics related to Autism Spectrum Disorders. Everyone’s autism experience is unique and what works for one, may not work for all. Whether you learn something for today or are able to save the information for a later time, we hope by attending you will gain new information that will help an individual with autism progress.
Who Should Attend? Families and anyone who desires to understand more about Autism Spectrum Disorders and options to help those individuals.
Continuing Education Credits Available-The conference will have CEU’s available for professionals in the nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy and education fields. The cost for professionals is $75.
The nursing field will receive 6.6 contact hours while the occupational therapy, physical therapy and education fields will get 5.5 contact hours for attending.
